On 24th January the festival of English carols and Christmas songs was organised. It was carried out in two categories:
1: Primary schools (class IV - VI) 2: Junior high schools.
There were about one hundred teenagers singing, playing and dancing.
It was difficult to chose the best ones. Finally the jury awarded

All prizes were bought thanks to founding of Nidzica Development Foundation 'Nida'.

Every year third classes (which are thaught English) prepare special
lessons for Halloween. They are dressed like ghosts, witches or murderes.
They play games during their English lessons and play 'trick or treat' for other students.

On 21st March the school took part in the international event called 'Spring Day in Europe!' The school was decorated and each class presented a chosen country from the European Union. All students were involved and tried to make the chosen country more familiar to the others. They were able: to see posters, watch plays, listen to the traditional music and songs, eat traditional food.
After a few weeks the school received special thanks from Romano Prodi.

On 13th March 2003 there was English Language Competition organized.
Four junior high schools from Pyrzyce area took part in it. About 40 competitiors solved the grammar and listening test. After the first part, ten best students took the speaking exam.
The best students were:

2. Agata Wójcicka - PG Lipiany
3. Sara Pałyga - PG Przelewice
4. Marta Śliż - PG Przelewice
5. Katarzyna Szczepanik - PG Przelewice
Later the team contest took part. The groups of three from each school had to describe some well known English people, recognise a monument or summarise a song. They had to show their wide knowledge of the United Kingdom and Englisch language. The best teams were:
1) PG Przelewice
2) PG Pyrzyce
3) PG Lipiany
4) PG Kozielice

First Math Competition took place on 20th February 2002 in Przelewice.
74 competitors from I - III classes took part in this competition. They did test and solved three open tasks. Winners got books and mathematical computer programs. Next Math Competition will take place next year in Lipiany.

A group of students from our junior high school decided to check their English in practise. They went for a 7 - days trip to London. They visited Windsor, Oxford and Cantenbury. They visited the Britsh Museum. They took a ride along the Thames and admired the London Eye, the Tower and Tower Bridge. Tired and happy they came back home.
