ABOUT US

 

Przelewice is a village situaded in a rural area in the north - west of Poland, about 60 km from Szczecin.
The population of the village is about 900.
   
The junior high school in Przelewice came into being in 1999.
In the first year the school was joined with a primary school.
There were only four first classes with 91 studenst from 19 villages. At the begining the students were taught in four classrooms and
eight teachers were employed.
   
In the school year 2000/2001 the junior high school was separated from the primary school.
There were eight classes and 186 students were taught.
In the school year 2001/2002 there were 281 students from 23 villages. There were some new teachers employed.
   
Now there are eighteen teachers and six other people of the staff. 280 students are taught in 11 groups of 24 - 29 people.
Foregin languages taught at school are English and German.
The school offers many afternoon courses and classes,
for example by maths, phisics, English, music.
   
The building has been renovated since 1999.
The classrooms are big, colourful and well equipped.
There are 13 classrooms, a library, a computer laboratory
and a kitchen. Next to the school the new gymnasium is being built. It should be finished by the year 2004.
